This year Industrial Frigo Ice returns to Cannes: the company will be among the exhibitors at MAPIC 2026, taking place on 3 and 4 November at the Palais des Festivals, at stand R7.D25.
MAPIC is a well-established event for Industrial Frigo Ice, and every edition has been a valuable opportunity to engage with owners, developers and managers of shopping centres. Today a shopping centre is no longer just a place to shop, but a destination where people choose to spend their time, and a well-designed experience can make the difference between a quick visit and a whole day out.
This is where Industrial Frigo Ice’s work comes in. For years the company has designed and manufactured ice skating rinks, ice slides and winter attractions for shopping centres, particularly for the Christmas season. Its experience in industrial refrigeration has made it possible to develop ice rinks and snow&ice attractions able to withstand positive temperatures: an essential requirement inside a shopping centre, where the environment is climate-controlled and ice and snow must last over time. This technology is complemented by energy-efficient chillers for ice rinks, designed to keep consumption down and make running a winter attraction sustainable over the long term.
This is why MAPIC is particularly important: it is the place where retailers, developers, owners, investors and managers from around the world meet to discuss the future of retail spaces, and where every conversation can become the starting point of a new winter season. Industrial Frigo Ice will be in Cannes to listen to the needs of those who run a shopping centre and to present solutions that combine impact for visitors with efficiency for operators.
See you at MAPIC 2026, stand R7.D25, where the Industrial Frigo Ice team will be delighted to meet anyone who wants to discover how ice and snow can turn a shopping centre into a destination to experience, not just to walk through.
